Jackson Skates
These are the typical skates that can be purchased in town:
Overlander will carry the following Jackson Skate levels:
- Mystique
- Artiste
Canadian Tire will carry the following Jackson Skate Levels:
- 150/180 Series;
- 450 Series
- Classic
- (I believe the models have changed this year to 2100/2200)
Online Orders:
Amazon carries the following Jackson Skate Levels:
- Classic (soft tec series)
- Excel
- Mystique
- Artiste
- Freestyle
For those ordering from Amazon, Please try to stay with the main colors of White and Black skates. If you choose the "fun" colors, you need to realize that they are more for the recreational skater. If you are in StarSkate, you are no longer a recreational skater and require skates that provide more support for what your skater will be doing.
Riedell Skates
You will not find these locally in a store but you can find them second hand from the club or previous skaters. If you skater has a super narrow foot these tend to the skate for them.
To purchase these skates you will need to do a remote fitting with the following figure skating shops:

- United Cycle - Edmonton
- Figure Skating Boutique - Thornhill, Ontario
Amazon carries the following Riedell skate Levels:
- Soar (Soft tec series)
- Ruby/Topaz - Similar to Opal
- Pearl
- Sparkle

- Flair (Boots only would need to purchase blades separately)
